About Us
Aeroclean Mold Lab Services is a full-service Environmental Microbiology Laboratory located with locations in Louisiana and Texas. We specialize in indoor air quality analysis of air, bulk, and surface samples for mold, fungi, bacteria, and certain allergens.
We offer the analysis of spore trap and culturable air, bulk, tape-lift, liquid, and swab samples. Our environmental health and field experience provides us with a better understanding of the significance of microbial exposure and the underlying route cause condition. Our readable and understandable reports enable you to accurately identify indoor microbial issues so effective control measures and remediation can be implemented.
Aeroclean's licensed mold lab provides indoor air quality analyses for a diverse group of clients, including homeowners, property managers, mold assessors, and other environmental professionals. services post Hurricane Katrina to enable repairs to vital communication
services where asbestos posed a significant hazard. In addition, we assessed
hazards caused by Hurrican Katrina to the Veterans Administration Medical
Center in New Orleans. Also, we have served the role of expert witness
in delivering testimony at depositions and in courts cases related to
industrial hygiene and mold.
Tainted Chinese Drywall
For affected homeowners in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, we developed a time and cost-effective
method for distinguishing the corrosion rate in homes as compared to the Norm
i.e. comparative corrosion data obtained from homes
free of tainted Chinese drywall. Our research was published in collaboration with other IAQ experts
in a White Paper,
sponsored by the AIHA on Chinese drywall hazards. This White Paper is now
an authoritative reference for the recognition, characterization,
detection, and control of the hazards pertaining to tainted Chinese drywall.
